Good to have you back.🙃
Today, we want to help you find your way through the jungle of definitions and terms related to eczema. ❓
For instance, eczema and atopic dermatitis both are used to describe the same condition. The overall category would be “dermatitis” and next to eczema/atopic dermatitis there’s also contact dermatitis (allergic and toxic/irritative contact dermatitis) and other eczema (like seborrheic eczema). 📖
There are also other chronic skin conditions like psoriasis, acne, chronic urticaria, rosacea, etc. 💡
And there are also very common comorbidities like asthma, hay fever, food allergies and dry eye. If you “catch” a couple of them over the years it’s referred to as “atopic march”. 👣
Looking forward to seeing you after your next (daily, weekly or monthly) check-up! 👀
Best
NALA ❤️
